The Kingdom of Chatalot

I "own" chatalot.net, and now that we have the new host, I (we) now have unlimted storage space, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited email accounts......

The Kingdom construction occupies a small portion and the database for the Kingdom is just shy of 100MB. I use some space for Myspace stuff, Facebook, Myyearbook plus 4 email accounts........

The rest is free gratis bur when we're talking unlimited what does it matter?

How many people here would like some space to put stuff? A chatalot.net email address? It's not a problem.......

Another thing...........and I have sent the host an email about this.........

I believe it is possible to set the Kingdom up in such a way that it can be accessed directly from the www.chatalot.net page

I.e. to access the Kingdom the link would be http://www.chatalot.net

that sounds like an easier to use link????????

....and with all this space, everyone here can have free home pages.........actual pages they can create however they like and put their homes on with links back to the topic referencing their homes and business.........

More ideas? thoughts? Suggestions?

Absolutely..........for example, you, LadyE could be http://www.chatalot.net/ladye with an email address of ladye@chatalot.net or say http://www.chatalot.net/tiggy with an email address of tiggy@chatalot.net

IF you uploaded a pic named tiggy.gif, THEN the link to it would be http://www.chatalot.net/tiggy/tiggy.gif

and to post here, you wouldn't even need the front portion, the link to post would be /tiggy/tiggy.gif or <img src="/tiggy/tiggy.gif">

You can, of course, post wherever you wish, hotlinking is enabled and there isn't any size limitation or file type limitation. The only reasonable expectation is that the person using the account doesn't violate any laws, such as post kiddie porn, post copyrighted material, send hate/inflammatory emails, share with others, etc ............meaning it's unmonitored, uncensored..........and private.........and the main purpose is to make the Kingdom more of a "home" for people.........

sounds good actually. i could tidy my photobucket pics relating to chatalot to here.. and register a chatalot email adress in my account info instead of my l.mercer..or as well as..just in case lol. im up for it your kinglyness [kiss king]

The best I could do with chatalot.net was to set the page with a redirect to here...........I set the redirect time to 5 seconds........

Maybe we should create some sort of banner there saying "Welcome to the Chatalot Gateway, you will be transported to the Kingdom of Chatalot in 5 seconds"

Or some such thing???????

chatalot.net is much easier and is a great idea to use as an email address! Thanks for the offer king! Sorry I have been scares around but with work, school and kids there is not much time for me :(
I have the weekend off of school though!!! Finished my first 8 weeks with exams on Wed. As long as I pass the exams I will have finished my first classes both with A's after 22 years since I was in school!!!! [clap1]
